In many areas, satellite tv systems are the only means by people could avail of television broadcasts, due to the limitations of cable television systems and broadcast TV, which require cable  infrastructure and line of sight respectively. It seems that there are only relatively few satellite television viewers as of today, the technology used in satellite television will be making a very significant impact on our lives.
