Seeds Defined
The term ‘seed’ in its more commonly used context refers to the embryonic form of a plant. Seeds are the end result of a seed bearing plant’s reproduction cycle. They are coated in some sort of protective husk and usually have some nutrition in them to allow the plant to grow and develop to the point that it could start taking energy form the sun. Seeds are typical of flowering plants, a form of plant life that evolved some time after the age of the dinosaurs. Today, plants with seeds are the dominant form of plant-life on earth.
