How do I obtain a retail sales tax ID in the state of N.C?

    Contact your local City Hall and ask them that questions, they will guide you from there.

    To obtain a sales and use tax account number you must submit a completed Registration Application, Form NC-BR, and mail it to: N. C. Department of Revenue, Post Office Box 25000, Raleigh, N. C. 27640. See the link below for more info.
