Do the poor retail sales finally reflect consumer’s frustration with junk made in china products?
agent456a asked:
I certainly feel that way. The prices stores were asking for crap has been outrageous. Things that cost pennies to manufacture are marked up 1000%. Does this mark an end of wal-mart consumerism and will shoppers demand quality for their dollar?
I certainly am willing to pay for made in the USA New Balance sneakers because they are quality and available in different selection/widths, and will never be looking at made in China Nikes again

i think we need to have more american made products here in america. it will help our economy a little. and i am sure it would be quality made. all american products i have are good quality.
Hopefully it is. Products made in China as everyone has heard or knows, break almost immediately after purchase, contain dangerous levels of lead in the paint and these products do not support at home manufacturing.
Unfortunately most people are willing to buy cheap short-life over high priced long-life quality.
