Once I visited the pediatric ward to admit my niece as per doctor’s advice. As I was settling my niece, the pediatric surgeon along with his team of doctors entered the ward. The nurse accompanying the surgeon was carrying the sterilization tray containing Pediatric Surgical Forceps of different sizes. These are used while operating on babies and children as they are light weight. It is easy for the surgeons to grip the pediatric surgical forceps and exert little pressure while operating on children. My niece enquired about the instruments on the tray and the nurse patiently explained and showed how the pediatric surgical forceps were handled.
