I am the dental and office assistant in a small dental practice. We have been thinking about adding another dentist to the practice. We have a lot of patients and have been having to turn away new patients because we do not have open appointments. We were thinking that it would be a good idea financially to add someone to the staff. We have also been researching our options for used dental equipment. If we add someone, we will need another set of equipment. We want to make money by doing this, not spend money so we are hoping to find what we need for less.

I do not yet arrive to the conclusión of whether to buy my preferred aeron chair, or that recommended by a friend of mine, who is a professional in this field, who strongly suggested to get the eames chairs. I am a person who spends many hours at home, working remotely for different clients from around the world. My job is mainly consultancy in the field of political risk, and in this capacity I spend a lot of time reviewing information, news and academic papers from arond the world. I then organize that information and prepare different documents and reports for my clients in more than eight countries.

I mention this last issue only to highlight that some of those clients are in different time zones and it is not unsual to find myself working and writing papers at 3 o clock in the morning, only because a customer of mine who lives in the other side of the world needs to get my report in the following thirty minutes to present it in an internal meeting. So, the message is that I need to feel comfortable in order to work properly. As I said, I am an expert in politic risks, not in chairs, and I would be very happy if I could learn something about the options I have before I decide my next purchase.

My daughter and her friends all love making their own stuffed animals, so I am thinking that for her birthday I will let her invite a few friends over and we can have a company come and bring the materials for them to make their own stuffed bears. That way each kid gets a great giveaway and they all have fun for a big chunk of the birthday party. This will cost a bit more than the usual goody bags we give out, but the girls will also love it a lot more as well. And it is both an activity and a giveaway.
